Vehicle Parking
No. Any vehicle with more than four wheels is a “commercial vehicle” by definition. However, “commercial equipment” such as trailers, compressor rigs, cement mixers, etc. cannot be parked overnight unless hidden from view in an approved enclosure.
This IS permitted by code on Mola, Isle of Capri and Coconut Isle. It is NOT permitted on Lido, San Marco, Coral Way, Royal Plaza and Isle of Palms.
The City of Fort Lauderdale is very proactive in code enforcement, especially with the illegal display of trash carts. A City Code Enforcement officer has been assigned to the Las Olas Isles area and will issue Code Violation Notices as he travels through our area.
Violations can be reported to the City Code Enforcement Department at (954) 828-5207.
We all want to live in a clean neighborhood, and we ask your cooperation in making our area one of which we can be justifiably proud.
